PYO audition requirements
PYO Music Institute asks string players to prepare a focused audition. No. In-person auditions by appointment only. No recorded preliminary round. The fastest way to get your take to standard is to fix the passage holding it back, on the same five dimensions a panel listens for, before you ever hit submit.
Requirements, repertoire, and dates change every season and vary by instrument and ensemble. Always confirm the current, official requirements before you prepare: PYO official audition page
