Children's Privacy (COPPA)
Orchestra Kingdom follows the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Orchestra Kingdom is built for ages 13 and up. We do not knowingly create accounts for or collect personal information from children under 13. Students 13 and older can create an account and use the coaching features directly.
Under 13: not permitted
We ask date of birth at signup and do not create accounts for anyone under 13. If we learn that an account belongs to a child under 13, we remove it. This keeps us squarely within COPPA for the youngest players.
Ages 13 and up
Students 13 and older can create an account and use the Judge, the Teacher, and audio analysis directly. If an account is ever flagged as belonging to a minor, for example when we cannot confirm an age, those features stay locked until a parent or guardian gives verifiable consent.
How a parent gives consent
When consent is required, the student enters a parent or guardian email. We send that adult a secure link explaining what we collect and why. When the parent confirms, the features unlock. A parent who starts a paid plan with a card also counts as consent. The consent link expires after 14 days, and we use the parent email only to send it.
What we collect from a student
The audio take the student submits, which is analyzed, kept for up to 90 days so the student can listen back and download it, and then automatically deleted, plus basic account details. To score playing we extract musical measurements and send those to our AI provider; some features, like the enhanced pitch model and the Teacher voice feature, send the audio itself to trusted analysis and speech-to-text providers listed in our Privacy Policy. We never use a student's data for advertising and never sell it.
Parental rights
A parent or guardian can review what we hold, withdraw consent, or delete the account and its data at any time by emailing support@orchestrakingdom.com with the student's account email. We confirm within 48 hours and complete any deletion within 30 days. Withdrawing consent stops further collection and locks the features again.
Retention and deletion
A student's audio takes are kept for up to 90 days, then automatically deleted, and we complete any deletion request within 30 days. Full data categories, sub-processors, and retention periods are in our Privacy Policy.
