Royal Academy of Music string audition requirements
Royal Academy of Music requires violin, viola, cello, double bass applicants to prepare a focused audition program. A video round (one unedited take) for video and international applicants; UK applicants audition live. The fastest way to get your take to standard is to fix the passage that is holding it back, on the same five dimensions a panel listens for, before you ever hit submit.
Requirements and deadlines change every admissions cycle, and exact repertoire varies by instrument and degree. Always confirm the current, official requirements before you prepare: Royal Academy of Music official audition page
