Eastman string audition requirements
Eastman School of Music requires violin, viola, cello, double bass applicants to prepare a focused audition program. Yes for violin, viola, and cello (video, due December 1). No prescreen for double bass. The fastest way to get your take to standard is to fix the passage that is holding it back, on the same five dimensions a panel listens for, before you ever hit submit.
Requirements and deadlines change every admissions cycle, and exact repertoire varies by instrument and degree. Always confirm the current, official requirements before you prepare: Eastman official audition page
